CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY – Writer and Director Sabrina Ne’Chelle Brown is proud to announce the opening of her latest stage play, “Laughter Between My Pain And A Rainbow” at the South Camden Theatre. The stage play will take place on August 7-8, 2015, with host Brother Marcus of Praise 103.9 radio.
Brown’s heart-felt, yet uproariously funny stage play features cast members Torrie Nicole, Will Wilmore III, Camille Forrest (from “Mrs. Independence” and “Torn Between 2 Fathers”), Tracy Shy (of T.D. Jakes’ stage play “Woman Thou Art Loosed”), along with Rodney Davis, Renee Reynolds, and Karen Orlando.
“Laughter Between My Pain And A Rainbow” takes you into the lives of five women who reveal their relationship issues to a counselor who is better able to solve the problems of everyone else than her own issues. Soon, the counselor begins to realize that there is a certain emptiness in her own life that longs to be filled, and Bishop Ellis could be the remedy. However, the Bishop has his own secret past, too.
Sabrina Ne’Chelle brings to the stage the challenges and triumphs of overcoming anger which stem from childhood and family dynamics, and its issues of infidelity, alcoholism, and child abuse, as well as insecurity and choosing the right mate.
Tickets are now available at Visions Hair Salon in Mt. Laurel or by calling Sabrina Ne’Chelle Brown at 856-725-1398.
